It looks like the summer is over*

Back to work, this year on the MA thesis only. I visited London and Brighton last week, mostly to catch a talk at London´s Institute of Contemporary Art by Maria Fusco, editor of the journal The Happy Hypocrite:

The first issue: Linguistic Hardcore

The journal caught my attention since publications on my MA thesis topic, the fiction text as critical art writing, or experimental art writing in general, don´t grow on trees. Read more about it at Book Works, the publisher´s, or on ICAs webpage! See also Art Review´s thoughts on the birth of the journal - sign in on artreviewdigital.com and choose the September issue.

Cosey Fanni Tutti, artist, musician, co-founder of the legendary
band Throbbing Gristle and ex-sex worker, is interviewed

* it is.

WIRE is the MA programme in Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice at the art and design college Konstfack in Stockholm (WIRE = write, interpret, research, exhibit). In posts labeled The WIRE Diaries, you´ll find a continuous update on what we do and some reflections on it all. Note that these are hardly official Konstfack or WIRE evaluations but on my part only.
